“This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal.” -Toni Morrison
“Sometimes we are blessed with being able to choose the time, and the arena, and the manner of our revolution, but more usually we must do battle where we are standing.” -Audre Lorde

"Ebony Toliver, the woman behind the Lez B Honest movement! Lez B Honest is not only hilarious but an incredible unique experience. She has begun a movement! All female comedy line-up, Ebony wears all lesbian designer clothing. Supporting the LGBT community in every way. I was fortunate enough to attend both Volume 1 & 2 brought my friends and all you heard from them was, “She is so funny!” “this is amazing!” and I plan to return again and again. Your cheeks will hurt, you will cry from laughter! Bring your friends, bring your family. You won’t regret it. Support the movement!"

"Loved the show. I'm picky when it comes to humor and comics. I like comics who are clever and insightful. This show nailed it! I'm a straight, Asian American woman and it didn't matter. I had a great time. In addition to the comics having really great material, they were also friendly (I don't like it when I feel bullied into laughing, know what I mean?). The crowd was friendly and clearly having a good time (I didn't feel judged for not laughing at certain jokes. Pot references are just not that funny to me. *shrug). I've been talking about the show to other friends who couldn't make it or didn't go. Definitely looking out for the next one so I can take all of those friends."
